S T R A S O L was founded on a series of Values significant to those we serve and to ourselves and the things we do. Our Values express our mindset, our approach to business and are demonstrated in the way we perform our work with clients and the results we help create. We always "begin with the end in mind" and our core belief is that "people support what they help create" .
Trust and Integrity
The key ingredients in all our partnerships; on these, we never compromise!
Systems Thinking
Systems Thinking is Strategic Thinking; and contrary to Analytic Thinking, in Systems Thinking the whole is the primary and the parts secondary. We see thus things (ideas, people, projects, organizations etc.) in context of the systems they are part of, allowing assessment and evaluation of impacts of change on all parts of a system, helping better decision-making.
People, as partners-in-arms
We believe that an organization's most strategic resource is its people, and that "people support what they help create". We are thus strategic partner-in-arms with people rather than entire companies. We work "top-down-all-across", commencing our partnerships with CEOs, Directors or Boards and an all-important behavioral assessment of the individualities of the people involved.
Lead Proficiency
C H A N G E - P E O P L E - S T R A T E G Y - L E A D E R S H I P -- our focus areas! We spend significant resources (time, money and passion) on methodology, but also on human action and implementation.
Performance Improvement

HOW WE WORK
Although we advice clients, our approach towards clients is for most part facilitative, founded in the belief that clients, in their own right, are Subject Matter Experts within their respective industries, whereas it is our métier as strategic partner-in-arms to extract and use information from clients, applying to it proven strategic methodologies and a series of easy-to-use tools that benefit clients in their strive towards performance improvement and sustainable success in business.
At core, we believe that "People Support What They Help Create" . Consequently, we use our facilitated approach to help you clarify clients thinking, create the appropriate plan, and implement with speed to generate results. Regular check-ups help clients stay the course as they work both in and on their business. We use this approach at planning retreats, collaborative meetings, group problem-solving sessions, and whenever a group needs to work together strategically as well as tactically. Seperate meetings with an individual business executive completes our broad range of where and when we serve as strategic partner-in-arms.
Depending on agreed agenda, we work either directly with you as leader or with your team-members, individually or in groups. Often our client relationships also include a couple of pre-identified in-organization project-assignments, and we also gladly partake in decision-making processes if this is needed or wished for. Some individual business executives prefer also one-on-one leadership coaching and/or mentoring, to help them gain clarity on their personal, work and life issues; this, we also do.
Specifically, when you are an individual business executive, you partner directly with S T R A S O L's Founder and Director, Soeren Juelsbak (to learn more about Soerens profile, please click . --- After an initial trial period, we typically sign agreement for 1-3 years, with a pre-determined No. of meetings, the possibility of continuous Leadership Coaching & Mentoring, Best-Practice Knowledge Exchange during monthly Mastermind meetings or other regular meetings, and in mutuality develop Strategic Solutions based on our Knowledge Exchange, our 7000+ pages researched-based Strategic Library and our Assessment & Planning tools.
--- As your strategic partner-in-arms, we are always at your disposal, 24/7.
SYSTEMS THINKING
The foundation for everything we do is based on the 'Science of Systems Thinking'. 'Systems Thinking' and 'Strategic Thinking' are originally based on the works of Ludwig von Bertalanffy, the Austrian father of the so-called 'General Systems Thinking'. During the 20th century, he pioneered the forming the 'Society for General Systems Research' conceiving the 'Science of Systems Thinking' as a recognized' Unity of Sciences.'
The 'Systems Thinking' is synonymous with 'Strategic Thinking'. Contrary to 'Analytic Thinking', in 'Systems Thinking' the whole is the primary and the parts secondary. In essence, 'Strategic Thinking' and 'Systems Thinking' view ideas, people, projects, organizations etc. within the context of the systems they are part of, allowing assessment and evaluation of impacts of change on all parts of a system, helping better decision-making. As such, people and an organization do not exist as islands, but as part of a larger network, web or matrix of systems that all function, more or less independently, yet interdependently.
'Systems Thinking' is thus directly applicable to the way individuals, teams and organizations function, much like natural systems do. Underlying these systems are complexities that have, at their heart, simple, fundamental foundations. By grasping the fundamentals and essence of how an organization works, as a system within a set of larger systems, it is possible to work through the complexity and arrive at real, effective solutions to individual, business or organizational challenge or opportunity.
Throughout our work with clients, 'Systems Thinking'-concepts and -methodologies are applied, facing clients challenges now and opportunities ahead. Applying 'Systems Thinking' simplifies a organizations or a business executive's leadership challenge and strategic planning, gradually fostering a daily habit of thinking in systems and thinking strategically.
The 6 Strategic & Systems Thinking questions, in sequence, are:
A: Where do you want to be? (i.e., your ideal future Vision; e.g. ‘Vision 2020’).
B: Where are you now? (i.e., today's challenges and opportunities ahead; typically using a SWOT-analysis as the core framework).
C: How will you know when you get there? (i.e., customers' needs, connected into a quantifiable feedback system; identify your Key Success Measures and belonging Goals/Objectives as well as your Key Performance Indicators).
D: By which Strategies are you going to move towards your ideal future Vision?
E: How are you going to implement the changes needed to pursue your Strategies?
F: ONGOING - What will/may change in the future business environment around you?
